Terms and Conditions

§1. Introductory provisions

The shop offers professional windshield repair and headlight restoration equipment, intended primarily for auto glass businesses and trade customers, but also available to consumers. Consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of EU law and Hungarian law remain fully preserved.

Delivery area: we deliver to 11 European Union countries only (Hungary, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). We do not ship outside these countries. This English version of the site is provided so that our products can be read about in English; it does not extend the delivery area.

§2. Definitions

• Consumer — a natural person who makes a purchase outside their trade, business or profession.
• Trader — a person acting within their trade, business or profession; certain consumer rights do not apply to them.

§3. Products and prices

Prices are shown inclusive of VAT, in the currency of the selected country. The price does not include delivery costs, which are shown separately before the order is completed. Where a discount applies, we also show the lowest price of the last 30 days prior to the discount alongside the current price (Omnibus Directive).

§4. Ordering and conclusion of contract

The customer adds goods to the basket, fills in the billing and delivery details, chooses a delivery and payment method, and confirms the order using the “Order with obligation to pay” button (or equivalent). Submitting the order concludes a contract of sale with an obligation to pay. We send confirmation by email.

§5. Payment

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Card details are handled exclusively by the payment service provider and are not passed on to the Seller. We issue an electronic invoice for every order (Számlázz.hu) and send it by email.

§6. Delivery

Delivery terms, costs and timescales are set out on the Shipping and payment page. The delivery charge depends on the country and the weight of the parcel, and is shown before the order is completed.

§7. Right of withdrawal

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period runs from receipt of the goods. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send notice before it expires — by email ([email protected]) or in writing to the Seller’s address. You may use the model form below (optional).

The consumer must return the goods within 14 days of withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer. The Seller refunds payments (including the cost of the cheapest delivery method offered) within 14 days, using the same means of payment; the Seller may however withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of dispatch is provided.

§8. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised; to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once unsealed; and to goods liable to deteriorate rapidly (the full list is set out in Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.)).

§9. Warranty claims (defective goods)

The Seller is liable for any defect present at the time of delivery which becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. Claims may be submitted to [email protected] or in writing. The consumer may first request repair or replacement; where this is refused, fails, or the defect is material, they may request a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract. The cost of repair or replacement is borne by the Seller. We handle claims within 30 days. For traders, remedies for defective performance apply to the extent permitted by the Hungarian Civil Code.

§10. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution. As the seller is established in Hungary, the competent body is the conciliation board attached to the county chamber of commerce (for our registered office: the Pest County Conciliation Board). More information: bekeltetes.hu. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also turn to the consumer protection authority or conciliation body of your own country.

§12. Final provisions

Matters not governed by these terms are subject to generally applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions; in the event of conflict, those provisions prevail. The Seller may amend these terms for good cause; orders already placed remain subject to the version in force at the time.
